Herman Wong

Herman is an associate in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. His practice spans a wide variety of civil and commercial litigation matters.

Herman provides clear communication, attention to detail, and pragmatism which benefit his clients. Herman invests time in all aspects of his practice to understand the nature of a file and what it takes to achieve an efficient and favourable resolution. As a student at Osgoode Hall Law School, he was the 1st place co-winner in the Winkler Institute Negotiation Competition, an invitee to the Canadian National Negotiation Competition, a representative on Student Caucus, and a student mentor.

Herman is the host of Law Syrup, a podcast for casual audiences co-produced by the Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN) with the support of The Law Foundation of Ontario. The show was given an honourable mention by Canadian Lawyer magazine as one of the top Canadian legal podcasts. Herman continues to volunteer for OJEN and is a member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL) and The Advocates’ Society.

Prior to joining as an associate, Herman articled at the firm. He also has experience working at personal injury and criminal defence firms, as well as at the Crown Attorney’s office in Toronto.
