Sarah Boyle

Sarah Boyle

A partner in the Family Law Group, Sarah has built a robust practice where she provides legal counsel on all areas of family law, including the full spectrum of issues arising from separation, marriage and cohabitation agreements. Her discretion, sophistication and skill ideally position her to manage high-net-worth matters. Clients turn to her to manage complex parenting, property and support issues, as well as intergenerational wealth transfers and interjurisdictional matters.

When conflicts arise and cannot be resolved out of court, Sarah competently assesses the circumstances from all perspectives to determine which forum of dispute resolution best suits her clients in helping them achieve their objectives. No matter the forum, Sarah leverages her strong advocacy skills and a comprehensive understanding of her clients’ needs, optimizing her ability to represent them effectively. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Appeal, and actively engages in all aspects of alternative dispute resolution.

Keeping client service excellence top of mind, Sarah invests time to know her clients to ensure she tailors her legal approach and strategy in a manner that aligns with their unique circumstances. Clients have praised Sarah for her creativity, empathy, knowledge of the law and attention to detail, qualities that have contributed to her success as a trusted advisor.

To complement her practice, Sarah is an editor-in-chief of Advising the Family-Owned Business, a resource for legal practitioners and has written extensively on various family law related topics.
