Overview
On Tuesday, March 28th Torkin Manes hosted an International Employers Forum session on cross-border employment and immigration law.
Attendees received practical advice on dealing with a cross-border workforce, with topics including:
- cross-border employment issues together with immigration, employment rules, non-competes and restrictive covenants
- the differences in employment law between Canada and the US
- the legal and regulatory issues to consider when transferring employees across the border
