Annie Tayyab elected President of SABA of Toronto’s Board of Directors

Torkin Manes is pleased to announce that our associate, Annie (Qurrat-ul-ain) Tayyab has been elected President of the South Asian Bar Association (SABA) of Toronto Board of Directors, after having served a long tenure on the board, as well as in other Executive Committee roles, including chairing numerous committees within the organization.
In her role, Annie takes the helm of an executive team, whose dedication to serving SABA Toronto will continue to promote the objectives of South Asian members of the legal profession, ensuring their interests are recognized, respected and shared with the Law Society of Ontario and various levels of government.
With consistent growth, SABA Toronto currently has as members more than 1,300 lawyers across the GTA, including legal professionals from large and small law firms, sole practitioners, government agencies/ departments, non-profit organizations, and corporations, in addition to members of the judiciary, academics and law students.
