Chris Harrs, General Counsel at Spin Master wins Canadian Lawyer InHouse Innovation Award for Working with External Counsel, Torkin Manes LLP

Congratulations to Chris Harrs, who was presented with the Canadian Lawyer InHouse Innovatio Award for Working with External Counsel (Torkin Manes LLP) at a gala dinner on September 19th at the Arcadian Court.

Chris Harrs was nominated for his leadership and innovative approach in managing Spin Master’s acquisition of Sago Mini and Toca Boca last year. The deal was noteworthy for both its complexity and the speed at which it was negotiated and completed .

Spin Master is an incredible Canadian success story. Established in 1994 it has grown from a three-person operation to employ over 1,000 people globally, with a catalogue of toy and children’s entertainment brands that are consistently lauded for their innovation and play value.
