Lisa R. Lifshitz appointment to the ABA Task Force on Law and AI
Overview
Torkin Manes is pleased to congratulate Lisa R. Lifshitz, Chair of the firm’s Technology and Privacy & Data Management Groups, on her recent appointment to the American Bar Association Task Force on Law and Artificial Intelligence for a one-year term.
The Task Force will address the impact of AI on the legal profession and the practice of law, and related ethical implications, provide insights on developing and using AI in a trustworthy and responsible manner, and identify ways to address AI risk.
Lisa is currently the Content Officer and Chair of the Content Board of the Business Law Section (BLS), American Bar Association and is the co-Chair of the BLS’ Robotics and AI Subcommittee, Cyberspace Committee. She speaks and writes frequently on AI legal issues.
