Torkin Manes honours Black History Month
Overview
Throughout the month of February, Torkin Manes honours Black History Month.
February highlights our year-round opportunity to learn more about the Canadian Black community’s rich history, the inspiring journeys of some of its members, who achieved greatness in the face of adversity and discrimination, as well as the Black community’s ongoing contributions to the enrichment of our country.
This year’s theme, “February and Forever: Celebrating Black History today and every day,” focuses on recognizing the daily contributions that Black Canadians make to Canada each day.
We encourage you to learn more about the innumerable contributions that members of the Black community have made to the enrichment of our country at the website below and beyond.
