Luigi A. Iantosca

Luigi is an associate in our Litigation and Construction Law Groups. He practises construction litigation, acting on behalf of general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, suppliers and public and private owners, including municipalities, on a variety of construction-related litigation matters.

Prior to joining Torkin Manes, Luigi articled and summered with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. In this capacity, Luigi gained experience working on complex construction and infrastructure related projects. Luigi also had the opportunity to appear in Provincial Offences Court on a number of natural resource related offences.

In law school, Luigi was afforded the opportunity to work with the Honorable Justice Peter Lauwers of the Ontario Court of Appeal as a part of the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice’s “Clerkships Across Canada” program.

Luigi worked in several facets of the construction industry throughout his undergraduate and legal studies. As a result, he understands the practical considerations that clients face. Luigi applied this practical knowledge as the only law student selected to attend the Annual Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships Conference in 2019. Additionally, Luigi had the opportunity to assist in advancing construction and infrastructure related legal arguments to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal concerning a highly contentious mega-hospital development in Windsor, Ontario.
